Four Oaks Methodist Church
Recursive designed, specified, tendered and project managed the enitre AV and IT systems at Four Oaks Methodist church based in Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham.
We are often tasked with working on large long-term projects, but occasionally we get to work on smaller, but no less important projects which have a much faster turn around. We have recently completed just such a project which was small but perfectly formed for Four Oaks Methodist Church. The client decided to employ us after having multiple integrators’ over many years all adding their own, but different ideas to the Church which led to a mish mash of equipment and many reliablity issues. FOMC decided that they wanted one cohesive design along with ensuring that they were able to obtain value for money with their sizeable investment through a comprehensive design and tendering process which we carried out.
The project consisted of multiple areas which included a complete refit of the existing church along with the introduction of assistive hearing systems, repeater displays, mixing desk and a laser lamp projector. As part of the project, the Church had several other rooms that needed to be linked to the main space and equipped with new AV systems. Recursive identified that the Church needed help with specifying a structured cabling system, along with active IT elements such as firewalls, WAP and network switches with POE.
